Today, on sometimes this is a whimsical food blog because when I get stressed out I like to avoid any and all actual responsibilities and bake: THESE. COOKIES.

Oh, but they just look like regular cookies, you say. Get over yourself, you say. WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL, YOU SAY / ASK.

THEY ARE MADE WITH HONEY INSTEAD OF SUGAR, AND COCONUT FLOUR INSTEAD OF WHITE FLOUR.  A lot of times, when you futz with the bad (good) stuff when baking and try and shove a cookie full of greek yogurt instead of butter or like bok choy instead of chocolate it just turns out wrong and strange. But these dudes are fluffy and decadent and perfect and I’ve made them twice since discovering them. Make them! Give them away with a mild air of superiority!
