Together / Apart

February 18th, 2016 by Bekah Brunstetter

Morrison: What?

Me:….Two years ago today Julien and I were in Costa Rica on a kayak in the middle of the oceannnnnn!

Morrison:  Awesome!

Me: But I’m sad.

Morrison: Why?

Me: I feel like I’m not going to get to run off on adventures anymore. Like that part of my life is potentially done.

Morrison:….Married people go out on kayaks, too.

Me:….Are you sure?

Morrison: Yep. Sometimes by themselves.

Me: REALLY?

Morrison: Yep, and sometimes even TOGETHER.

Me: I FEEL LIKE YOU’RE MAKING THIS UP.

Morrison: Oh, but I’m not.

Me: so what you’re saying is, potentially, I am allowed to go off and kayak solo but also you would kayak with me and both are fine?

Morrison: Yup!

Me: OKAY, PHEW. WILL YOU MARRY ME?

Morrison: Sure, how’s October?

Me: SO GREAT.
