The Ethics of sharing

August 24th, 2014 by Bekah Brunstetter

I’ve been thinking a lot on this trip about the ethics of sharing, like social media wise. Some things, like say, everything I’ve seen so far in Iceland, are hard to describe, impossible to really capture in a picture, and worth seeing in person. Posting a picture is kind of like robbing everyone of the awe of seeing the thing for the first time, on their own. Shouldn’t some things be sacred and not posted/ shared? Hmmm. While I mull over this over, here are these pictures of the fireworks show over the glacier lagoon, which was probably the most incredible thing I have ever seen in my whole life. I’M SORRY, I CAN’T HELP IT, I CAN’T.
