Okay. I now make my home practically ontop of the San Andreas faultine (or some 35 miles South of.) I awoke at 5 am yesterday morning to a quake, and then at work, my coworker reported hearing on the news that there’s a 99.9% chance that a giant earthquake will happen in our lifetime. Worry, Paranoia and latent girl scout preparedness sent me straight to Amazon, where I purchased two Earthquake backpack things, one for house, one for car. They appear to be stuffed full of instant water, just add water, knives?, glowsticks, for disaster parties? masks? Though in the event of an emergency, I will probably have no idea what to do with any of the things, I think it will be comforting to know that I have them. ¬†Also, please note there is apparently a bar in LA called Faultline and I just really hope that when the quake hits, they’re still open, serving gasoline / kale.
