Sadcakes

March 20th, 2011 by Bekah Brunstetter

After lunch, Lily and I happened upon the saddest cakes you ever did see. Not only are they slowly dying / melting, they also appear to be crafted for some really sad child’s mud or sand or apocalypse themed party.

Check out this super arty picture of all my receipts and tax forms for 2010 filing, you guys. I think this the first step in ‘doing’ taxes is arranging these things on your bed, and just sort of staring at them.

this happens sometimes, a lot

Oftentimes, I am innocently going about my business, and suddenly I don’t like what I’m wearing, and suddenly I have an hour to kill, and suddenly I’ve bought a new dress and suddenly I’m using the bathroom at the the gym just to put it on and suddenly I’m taking a picture of it and suddenly, all of the sudden, this picture ends up on the internet.

the End of an Era

March 18th, 2011 by Bekah Brunstetter

I am sad to report that my time with the Kilby sisters is coming to an end. Sarah is moving in with her BF and Anne is going with. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve loved and terrorized the Baby Kitty. Anne is gearing up for the transition by spending lots of time staring longingly into Baby Kitty’s eyes. I’ll either be looking for two new lady boarders, or perhaps getting a place of my own (?) but if you like Lean Cuisines, watching me drink wine and / or dishwashers – please inquire within.

Guess what’s suddenly good!

March 17th, 2011 by Bekah Brunstetter

For years I told myself that I didn’t like beets. I thought they tasted like dirt. NOW I LOVE THEM AND I LOVE THAT THEY TASTE LIKE DIRT.

BLARNEY, AND THINGS!

March 17th, 2011 by Bekah Brunstetter

I don’t know about YOU, but this is what I’m wearing today. Happy day of undergraduates vomiting on the street at noon! Happy green beads and beer! Happy overstatement of one’s 17% irishness to all! And to all a good night. Don’t forget to start with a food base.

HI, CLOCK

This week on Bekah gets arrested for kidnapping, LOOK AT THIS LITTLE MUFFIN BEING MUFFINY. If I had a daughter she would DEFINITELY be sweatered and pigtailed all the time. Women can have babies like in their fifties now, right? I have beaucoup de irrational things to accomplish first.
