Christmas Catchphrase with the Brunstetters

December 25th, 2010 by Bekah Brunstetter

In celebration of us all being here at Christmas for the first time in years, we took it outside round the firepit for some family catchphrase. To further the cliche, there was hot chocolate involved. It was the best. Most importantly, my Mom discovered that catch phrase is hard. You can’t say the word! HOW DO YOU SAY IT WITHOUT SAYING THE WORD?!

This

December 24th, 2010 by Bekah Brunstetter

It is so so so so much easier to run when you’re outside and it’s pretty. I like to pretend I’m running from buffalo or to catch my food or perhaps that I am a gazelle or squirrel who may or may not have consumed half a key lime pie last night, and feels pretty guilty about that. Silly squirrel. Pies are for people.

On Waving

December 23rd, 2010 by Bekah Brunstetter

This man does not actually live in my neighborhood. I wish that he did.

Round my parents neighborhood, and I guess, most neighborhoods, ever, it’s custom to wave at your neighbor as they walk or drive by, no matter who they are, and I really really love this. I’m going to bring back waving. I’m going to bring it to New York, and get the stink eye and maced.

my little guy!

December 22nd, 2010 by Bekah Brunstetter

Steve geniusly gifted me with a Lil Nano! Not only does my limited edition friend fight aids, it ALSO means I don’t have to lug my phone around with me when I run, for music. ALSO, Stanta presented me with a Nike device that attaches to little guy, and tells you how far you’ve run, and uploads this info / puts it online so you can keep track. Some girls want diamonds; dresses; puppies. I am pretty much over the moon for my nerdy running equipment. THANKS STANTA!
