Morning Serial.

November 13th, 2014 by Bekah Brunstetter

I can’t start my day without my SERIAL!  I am the first person in the entire world to ever do that.

HAVE YOU BEEN LISTENING TO SERIAL?

NO?

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?

OKAY MAYBE YOU ARE DEAF*, IN WHICH CASE, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU, YOU ARE PERFECT, I RESPECT YOU,  DEAF GAIN, ETC, BUT IF YOU CAN HEAR:

It’s an offshoot of This American Life:  a series of podcasts covering one story — that of a murder  of a high school girl in Maryland in the late 90s — and it is quickly becoming the Thing that everywhere you are, someone is talking about it. It’s so simple and nearly mundane in its details — call logs, whereabouts, a Best Buy Parking Lot. But the simple question: WHO DID IT? Aynad, the guy who’s been in prison for it for years? Or someone else entirely? keeps you totally hooked. They keep you waiting, like old school pre-internet we have no idea what’s going to happen on the next Louis and Clark,  dropping just one ep a week. You really need  this podcast.  Here.

*Okay, so maybe you are actually really deaf, in which case high five, and here is a transcript of the first episode. LISTEN WITH YOUR EYES!
