Loser!

December 18th, 2010 by Bekah Brunstetter

I would like to officially announce that I’ve lost 25 pounds since this time last year! No applause, please. I’d like to thank broccoli, running, almonds, body issues, veggie burgers, deep insecurities, nine dollar pants, treadmills, and financial / career anxiety.

Psychology

November 9th, 2010 by Bekah Brunstetter

For me, the best time to go running is when you first wake up, when you are still sort of confused. The brain is unable to manufacture any resistance, and before you know it, you are wearing clothes and out the door and find yourself waking up DURING the run, and all of the sudden: what’s up, pigeons and world! If you wait until AFTER coffee, when the brain awakes, it is sure to convince you that watching a lot of Teen Mom is a great idea; and that running itself is crazy.
